I started my fitness journey as a competitive horseback rider at the age of 7 and continued throughout high school. Once I became a mom I found joy as Spin instructor. I practiced Bikram yoga for 4 years before finding my true passion with CrossFit in 2013.
I was working out with a personal trainer in my gym and I would always see the CrossFit classes in session. They looked so intimidating. I had never seen so many strong women lifting a barbell before. One day my trainer said, “You’re ready, get in there!” I did not feel ready, but I trusted him and chose to push my fears and insecurities aside. After one workout I was hooked.
I love helping others find joy in fitness. I find it incredibly fulfilling to see the progress athletes make physically, mentally and emotionally. It’s rewarding to witness their commitment to themselves to get fit and healthy.
